The initial consultation lasts 30–45 minutes and costs $110, including a comprehensive assessment with treatment on the same day where appropriate. Follow-up appointments are $75. GP-referred patients may be eligible for Medicare-subsidised care, with rebates of up to $63.40 per visit for up to 5 visits per calendar year.
It varies with your condition, its severity, your medical history, occupational demands and overall health. Long-standing or chronic issues typically require a longer course of care than more recent injuries.
No. We never lock patients into long-term plans or contracts. Care is pay-as-you-go, guided by your condition, your response to care and your preferences.
Many health funds provide chiropractic rebates under “extras” cover. We recommend checking your policy to confirm and maximise your benefits.
No referral is required. Chiropractors are primary contact practitioners and can assess and treat patients without a referral from a medical practitioner.
Comfortable clothing — tracksuit pants or shorts and a T-shirt are ideal, allowing ease of movement and direct access for assessment and treatment.
